Inhabitants of Buenos Aires love to intake deserts mainly custards, pastries, fresh fruits, ice creams and chesses. Beef, being an essential part of their meals, is prepared in different varieties such as asado, bife de chorizo and empanadas. The regular meal is generally accompanied with either red tinto or white blanco wine and breakfast goes well with tea maté or coffee.

Presently, Argentina is a federal presidential representative democratic republic and in all the twenty three provinces of the country, governors are selected separately. In addition, the provinces have varied judicial systems for monitoring the tranquility of the respective divisions.
The first major of Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, was Torcuato de Alvear. She gained her autonomous status in the year 1996 under the Reform of the Argentinean Constitutions which took place in 1994. Buenos Aires held the mayoral election in the same year where Fernando De La Rua was elected as the mayor. Fernando De La Rua was later elected as the President of Argentina in the year 1999. Presently, the Vice President of Buenos Aires is Daniel Scioli and Jorge Telerman is heading the main office until the next election is held.
