Suburbs in Canberra
To have a glimpse of the wilderness outside the crowds of the city you can visit Lake Burley Griffin where you can go for boating in the lake, and walk or skate around the 35km shoreline. Boats , skates and other necessary equipments can be hired from Acton Park Ferry Terminal.
Canberra offers marvelous walks and bike rides both in the city and surrounding area. Several places to explore include Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve which is located 45 km southwest of the city.
