Suva is the capital city of Fiji and it is also the commercial and political center of Fiji. It is also one of the largest urban area in the South Pacific outside of Australia and New Zealand.
- General climate of the city and best time to visit:
Though Fiji can be enjoyed all year round yet the best time would probably be in dry season from May to October. During this month you can expect less rainfall and humidity and with a less risk of tropical cyclones.

Suva is located on the Central Division of the southeast coast of the island of Viti Levu. Suva is on a peninsula, and which is almost surrounded by sea.
