The Mayor can serve two terms with each term of 4 years. The present Mayor of Tbilisi is Giorgi Ugulava. The city is administratively divided into raions or districts. All these districts have their own central and local government. They also have jurisdiction rights over some of the affairs. Presently the raions of Tbilisi are Vake Saburtalo, Mtatsminda Krtsanisi, Didube Chugureti, Gldani Nadzaladevi, Isani Samgori, and Dzveli Tbilisi. All these have their own government whereas there is a central government in Tbilisi as well. This Central Government takes care about the other affairs which do not fall under the jurisdiction of the local government.
