- Ebn-e Babooyeh
Overview: In the town of Ray (a part of the Tehran city) this cemetery is located. Many well known personalities of Iran belonging to the religion, literature, arts, sports, culture and politics domain were laid to rest in this cemetery. Ali Akbar Dehkhoda, Jalaleddin Ali Mir Abolfazl Angha, Mir Ghotbeddin Mohammad Angha, Gholamreza Takhti are some of them.
- Zahir-od-dowleh
Overview: It is one of the most renowned cemeteries of Tehran. It contains the graves of some of the most well known personalities of Iran. Abolhasan Saba, Mohammad Taghi Bahar, Rahi Moayeri, Iraj Mirza, Ruhollah Khaleghi, Forough Farrokhzad are some of them.
- Saint Tatavous Church:
Overview: In one of the oldest districts of Tehran, Chaleh Meidan, stands this beautiful edifice. At the time of the Qajar king, Fathalishah’s reign this oldest church was built. The dome shaped roof, the four alcoves, the beautiful altar and the special chair where the Armenian leader sits are the most significant things of this noted church. Just at the entrance of the church the graves of renowned non Iranian Christians are positioned. The graves of Gribaydof, the Czarist ambassador and his associates are seen at the churchyard. The church showcases the Iranian architectural work considerably.
